PRC Participates in Lee's National Denim Day to Raise Money to Battle Breast Cancer

August 26, 2009 - PRC is proud to be a participant of Lee's National Denim Day and to join the fight against breast cancer. As a woman-owned company, with over 125 (of~175 total) women on staff, this fight is especially important to us. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime and it's safe to say, each of us has been touched by this disease - whether it's a mother, aunt, sister, daughter, or friend. What that one in eight statistic means is one woman, right here at the PRC corporate office will likely be diagnosed.

On Friday, October 2nd, PRC is going to take part in National Denim Day - with a twist. Since Friday is typically "jeans day" at PRC, we are asking each employee (men included) to wear jeans and a pink shirt and to donate $5 to breast cancer research via the Lee Denim Day website. Our goal is ambitious - we are hoping for 100 percent participation! Please join us. Challenge your friends to do the same.
